Fitness & Recreation

As we grow older, maintaining an active lifestyle becomes more important than ever.  Regular exercise helps to boost energy, enables you to maintain or lose weight, helps to manage pain and illness, and even reverses some symptoms of aging.  Exercise is not only good for your body, but also for your mind, mood and energy!  Whether you are generally healthy or managing an illness, there are plenty of ways you can get more active and boost your level of fitness.

Ways to Stay Active

From walking on lighted sidewalks throughout our 31-acre campus--to S.H.A.P.E. Fitness classes of differing intensity levels--to bocce ball, Wii bowling and fun runs--we offer a variety of active lifestyle options to our 55+ retirement living community.  Many of our classes and events are also available to residents of Grinnell and the surrounding area.  It’s a well-known fact that participating in activities with others is more motivating and fun—so come join us and have some fun!
