It's National Assisted Living Week at The Hammond Center
This year's theme is "Caring is EssentiAL" and Monday the 14th kicked off National Assisted Living Week at the Hammond Center with lots of fun things planned! Check our Facebook page frequently throughout the week to follow the fun.
We can all agree that this is the year we found out just how many jobs and people are essential to making the world run smoothly. The Hammond Center and St. Francis Manor are fortunate to have very caring and compassionate essential workers in all positions at our facilities.
WE WILL UPDATE THE WEEKS EVENTS AS THEY HAPPEN!
TUESDAY - The Hammond Center started Assisted Living Week with a delicious French Toast bar complete with fresh fruit and various flavored syrups! We competed in a mini-golf game where a few ladies hit a golf ball for the first time! We have also been hard at work painting ceramics!
The Dari Barn on the Moove truck will be parked in front of the Hammond Center (907 Orchard Drive) Tuesday, September 15th! 11:30am-12:00pm is reserved for staff and tenants to order, 12:00pm-1:00pm the truck is open to the public! See the menu below for all the tasty treats they are bringing - barnyard nachos are always a staff favorite!
