To save lives and raise awareness of heart disease which is the No. 1 killer of women, the American Heart Association launched Go Red for Women in 2003. Women are encouraged to wear red, raise their voices, and make healthy lifestyle changes to live longer, happier and healthier lives!
“We are excited to host this event to help people become more aware of heart disease and what steps they can take to prevent it. Many women don’t know how big of a problem heart disease is. Our Go Red event brings women together to spread awareness about this silent killer,” said Fitness Director Kayla Faas.
