Staff & Residents Receive COVID Vaccine

GREAT NEWS…126 total people received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic held on Friday, January 8th in the Hawn Center! Pharmacists from Walgreens administered the Pfizer vaccine to 67 staff members, 19 Hammond Center tenants and 40 St. Francis Manor residents.

The second dose will be administered on January 29th as well as the first dose for those who missed the January 8th clinic. Administrator/RN Tiffany Criswell reported the day after receiving the vaccine, “I am doing great. No symptoms at all. My arm is a little tender but no worse than the flu shot. Our residents and tenants seem to all be doing good as well.”
