Easter Egg Hunt at St. Francis
The Easter Bunny hopped over to St. Francis Manor in Grinnell for its outdoor Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16.
Many St. Francis residents and Hammond Center for Assisted Living tenants assisted with filling over 1,000 Easter eggs and then enjoyed watching the children hunt for the eggs— some braved the wind and watched from outside while others watched from their windows.
Great-grandchildren of St. Francis Manor residents and Hammond Center tenants, children and grandchildren of staff members, as well as children from the community were divided into 3 age groups for the hunt.
Pictured right are children in the birth to 3-year-old age group gathering their Easter eggs.
