Easter at St. Francis Manor

April 10, 2026

The Easter Bunny made a special visit to St. Francis Manor and the Hammond Center for Assisted Living on April 4, bringing joy and Easter treats to the residents and tenants. Despite the chilly weather, numerous residents braved the cold to observe the children quickly collect over 1,000 plastic eggs that the residents and tenants had previously filled with 50 pounds of candy. Following the egg hunt, it was heartwarming to see families come together to decorate cookies and take photos with the Easter Bunny, also known as Maddie Ellis. “The sweet Easter Bunny brought smiles to our residents and tenants who also thoroughly enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the young visitors,” said Executive Administrator Dion Schrack. “A huge thanks to Activity Directors Tori Funke, Miranda Anderson and Cadie Farver for coordinating this fun event for our residents and the community.”
