FUN TIMES AT THE “HARD TIMES” FUNDRAISER!
Approximately 150 people enjoyed homemade ham & bean soup, cornbread, apple cider and a variety of desserts on November 2 at the “Hard Times” fundraiser event hosted by the Seeland Park Marketing Committee. The free-will donation event raised a total of $6,500 for the St. Francis Manor Foundation to be used towards construction of its new Hammond Center for Assisted Living. The Hammond Center, which is projected to open in the fall of 2018, will complete the continuum of care offered by St. Francis Manor and the Seeland Park campus and will add 20 more much-needed assisted living apartments to the Grinnell community.
