Legislative Healthcare Forum

St. Francis Manor will hosted a legislative forum for the Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA) on Tuesday, October 25, at 2 PM in the St. Francis Manor Social Center, 2021 Fourth Avenue. Steve Ackerson, executive director of IHCA, was the main speaker. The forum was free and open to the public.

Those in attendance learned more about legislative issues facing local facilities and their residents and staff. The forum was also designed to open a line of communication that will help enhance the quality of long-term care.

Senator Tim Kapucian and Representative David Maxwell were also in attendance. Michael Keefer from Congressman Rod Blum’s office also attended.
