26th Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day
St. Francis Manor, Seeland Park & Hammond Center for Assisted Living celebrated the 26th Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day like champs while attempting to dodge water puddles and even a light mist by the end of the outdoor activities on Wednesday, May 29. Over 60 participants kicked off the event with a short walk around the Seeland Park campus which included a station for weaving through cones and a bag/ball toss station. Following the walk, participants enjoyed refreshments and a game of exercise Bingo in the Social Center. Thanks to assistance from staff members, Seeland Park residents and volunteers from Bayer, 25 St. Francis Manor and Hammond Center for Assisted Living residents were able to participate in the event too!
