Seeland Park Apartment Residents Have a Special Visitor

June 23, 2020

Cinnamon, an eight-year-old llama owned by Merle Mann of Oskaloosa, arrived in the back seat of Merle’s pickup truck for a campus visit on May 18. She immediately started making her way around the campus, visiting residents and tenants through their windows. Cinnamon was very patient and stood still for everyone to get a good look at her including Irene Rohrssen (pictured). Merle owns several more llamas and recently started visiting care facilities. He believes that the llamas help ease anxiety and even brighten our mood. “With all the smiles Cinnamon received today, her visit definitely brightened everyone’s day,” commented Activity Director Julie Underhill.
