Snowbird Winters

Employees Donate $13,465 to St. Francis Manor Foundation

Thank you to the following employees who donated to the St. Francis Manor Foundation either by check or through payroll deduction during the calendar year 2020: Sammi Bryan, Kelly Burns, Tiffany Criswell, Lori Glosser, Betty Hammond, Kayla Lint, Vickie Miller, Dion Schrack, Shelley Schrack, Tim Stahl, Cindy Strobel, June Watkins, and two anonymous donors. Their generous donations totaling $13,465 were very much appreciated and benefited the Furniture, Gazebo, NuStep, PPE, Tree, Van, and Unrestricted Funds; as well as the Hammond Center for Assisted Living.

A Trip to the White House

Seeland Park resident Madolyn Braley's sister, Marjorie Casey, was nominated in 1995 by the Des Moines Needlepoint Guild to be the person from Iowa to contribute a Christmas needlepoint stocking for the Christmas tree in the Blue Room at The White House. She was one of four to represent Iowa. Read Madolyn's memorable story on our website.
